Ergonomics

The Sierra HD’s LED headlights produce a whiter, brighter light (up to 3x) using five times less power than the Silverado HD’s standard halogen headlights. LED lights also light instantly and last over twenty times longer than halogen.

The Sierra HD AT4X/Denali Ultimate has standard massaging front seats in order to maximize comfort and eliminate fatigue on long trips. Massaging seats aren’t available in the Silverado HD.

Compared to traditional radio, the GMC Sierra HD’s standard SiriusXM satellite radio provides an unmatched listening experience. Its extensive coverage guarantees consistent, crystal-clear reception across the continental U.S., and access to over 100 channels dedicated to a multitude of genres, including music, news, sports, talk shows, and comedy, many with only limited commercial breaks. Satellite radio is only offered on the Silverado HD Custom/LT/ZR2/LTZ/High Country.

Recommendations

J.D. Power and Associates rated the Sierra HD second among large heavy duty pickups in owner reported satisfaction. This includes how well the vehicle performs and satisfies its owner’s expectations. The Silverado HD isn’t in the top three.
